The report is developed under the leadership of Pikes Peak United Way with support from Leadership Pikes Peak and the Pikes Peak Library District.  Most importantly, it is produced through the volunteer time and expertise donated by nearly 200 citizens and community leaders. Working through a structure of these ten vision councils, the 200 volunteers, representing the public, private and nonprofit sectors of our community, identify data points and validate and vet information included in the report each year. They freely give of their time and expertise in every sector of business, social issue and lifestyle working for several months each year to research and publish the report and roll it out to the community in the fall.
